All age groups have, that I thought, is basically Vaseline on the lips, but is for internal use, because, as they are intended designed to be used.
Presumably, any age, provided they submitted acceptable at any age, lotion or sunscreen. ((Exact age do not know yet.))

When it's cold outside, and the child has sore lips does not believe that no matter what age you fill up. However, I am getting something like a lip balm or Vaseline is used only in a saucepan. I do not want to eat the kind of tastes.:)

hmm .. I'm 40 and I do not think I ever really used lip balm ... I prefer to protect my car, wrapping a scarf over his face during the winter or sunscreen and a hat in summer.

I know this is not really an answer, but I spoke with the pediatrician. I'm sure I could answer that better. With all the recent recalls of medicines for children, not to mention toys, better safe than sorry.
My niece is 2, is used to put Chapstick on her when she was 1, it dosnt rly matter. TOPlay lipgloss now in love.
and 3 My cousin is 3, and put lip balm! =)

I think 10 or 9 .. shapstick i got 2 put on the lips at the age of 13 ... I know that stinks!
